Officebooking Visitor Registration app<\/h3>\n

Make your visitors feel truly welcome when visiting your locations. Modernize your visitor registration by fully self automating the invitation and registration process. Get rid of the paper registration and have your visitors sign in with our intuitive kiosk app.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/a>1 Installing the Visitor Registration app using an USB stick \u2013 for Kiosk displays<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Power the kiosk display with the adapter or via PoE. Make sure the device has access to internet either via Wifi (connect with Wifi via \u2018Settings\u2019), via Ethernet cable or (when using a tablet with it’s own sim card) via internet.<\/li>\n
  2. The device will automatically start. Please wait a few seconds before the home screen appears.<\/li>\n
  3. Download the compromised folder from the email.<\/li>\n
  4. Extract the file from the compromised folder.<\/li>\n
  5. Save the apk file to your local disk and copy the files to a (empty) USB stick.<\/li>\n
  6. Insert the USB Stick in the USB slot at the bottom of the device.<\/li>\n
  7. Go to \u2018Settings\u2019 and open the \u2018Explore\u2019 app on the home screen of the device.<\/li>\n
  8. Select the USB and select the Visitor Registration apk file.<\/li>\n
  9. Follow the installation instructions.<\/li>\n
  10. After installation the app opens automatically.<\/li>\n
  11. Continue with changing the device settings in step 3.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    <\/a>2 Installing the Visitor Registration app via the App Store \u2013 for tablets<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Before starting the installation, make sure your tablet has enough power.<\/li>\n
    2. Go to the App Store app on your tablet.<\/li>\n
    3. Search for \u2018Visitor Registration\u2019.<\/li>\n
    4. Select the red icon.<\/li>\n
    5. Select the \u2018Install\u2019 button to install the app.<\/li>\n
    6. Then select the \u2018Open\u2019 button to start the app.<\/li>\n
    7. Continue with changing the device settings in step 3.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      <\/a>3 Finalizing the installation of the display: display settings<\/h3>\n

      These settings mandatory for optimal functionality of the app. These settings have to be done, before continuing to step 4 and 5.<\/p>\n

      Schedule the daily reboot<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. To finish the installation return to the home screen of the device to activate a daily reboot of the display to avoid issues.<\/li>\n
      2. Select \u2018Settings\u2019, then select \u2018System\u2019 > \u2018Scheduled\u2019<\/li>\n
      3. Select the second option \u2018Reboot\u2019 and select \u2018Repeat\u2019. Then select each day of the week, to daily repeat the reboot.<\/li>\n
      4. Select \u2018Ok\u2019, then select \u2018Done\u2019.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Disable autocorrect and spellchecker<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Return to \u2018Settings\u2019 to disable autocorrect and spell checker.<\/li>\n
        2. Select \u2018Settings\u2019, then select \u2018Personal\u2019.<\/li>\n
        3. Select \u2018Language & input\u2019.<\/li>\n
        4. Select \u2018Keyboard & input methods\u2019, then select \u2018Android keyboard AOSP\u2019.<\/li>\n
        5. Select \u2018Text correction\u2019 and turn all options off by switching the toggle.<\/li>\n
        6. Go back to \u2018Language & input\u2019 to disable spell checker.<\/li>\n
        7. Select \u2018Spell checker\u2019 and turn it off by switching the toggle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Display brightness<\/strong><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Go back to \u2018Settings\u2019.<\/li>\n
          2. Select \u2018Device\u2019, then select \u2018Display\u2019 and then select \u2018Brightness level\u2019.<\/li>\n
          3. Set the brightness level to your preference.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Disable auto-rotate and hide status bar<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Go back to \u2018Display\u2019 (Settings > Device > Display).<\/li>\n
            2. Turn off auto-rotate by selecting \u2018When device is rotated\u2019.<\/li>\n
            3. Choose the option \u2018Stay in current orientation\u2019.<\/li>\n
            4. Now select \u2018Advanced\u2019 to hide the status bar by switching the toggle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Return to home screen to open Visitor Registration app<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Because you just hid the status bar, select the round button in the middle of the top of the display to return to the home screen of the device.<\/li>\n
              2. Here you\u2019ll be able to open the Visitor Registration app again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                <\/a>4 Creating a Location Manager user for the Visitor Registration login<\/h3>\n

                Before you can log in to the app, you need a Location manager account to log in with. Creating a user is done in the OfficeAdmin portal.<\/p>\n

                It\u2019s also possible that this account has already been created for you by an Officebooking support employee. In this case you will receive the login details from them and you can skip this step and continue to step 5.<\/p>\n

                Within the OfficeAdmin environment you can manage the users under the heading \u2018Users\u2019 in the menu on the left. You can create a Location manager user account by clicking the \u2018Add user\u2019 button. Below we explain the mandatory fields in more detail:<\/p>\n
