Setting standard opening hours helps manage when users can view and book spaces at a location. These opening hours are displayed in the mobile app and web app, providing clear visibility to users. You can also optionally enforce reservation limits within these hours.

Set Standard Opening Hours

Follow these steps to configure the default opening hours for a location:

  1. Navigate to ‘Locations’ in the main menu.

  2. Select the location you want to configure.

  3. Click ‘Edit’.

  4. Open the ‘Opening Hours’ tab.

  5. Add opening times by selecting a day, entering the start and end times, and clicking ‘Add’.

  6. Repeat this for all working days.

  7. Click ‘Save opening hours’ to apply the changes.

Note: Any day without specified opening hours is automatically considered closed. Users will not be able to make reservations on those days unless hours are later added.

    ""

    Add Custom Opening Hours

In addition to setting default weekly hours, you can configure custom opening hours for specific dates.
Custom opening hours override the default opening times for the selected day only.

    Example:
A location is normally open from 08:00 to 22:00, but on May 5th, the location will close early at 14:00. You can add a custom opening hour for May 5th to reflect this special schedule.

    To add custom opening hours:

    1. Navigate to ‘Locations’ in the main menu.

    2. Select the location where you want to configure custom hours.

    3. Click ‘Edit’.

    4. Open the ‘Custom Opening Hours’ tab.

    5. Click ‘Add’.

    6. Select the specific date and enter the adjusted opening and closing times.

    7. Click ‘Save’ to apply the changes.

Note: Custom opening hours take priority over default opening hours on the specified date, and if no custom hours are set, the default opening hours will apply as usual.

      Configure Closure Days

If a location needs to be closed entirely on certain dates (for example, public holidays), you can add specific closure days.

      1. Open the ‘Collective Closures’ tab within the same location editing page.

      2. Click ‘Add’.

      3. Choose the closure date and enter the closure times (if partial closure is needed).

      4. Click ‘Add’ again and then ‘Save’.

Tip: Collective closures override standard opening hours for the selected date(s).

        ""

        Restrict Reservations to Opening Hours

After configuring the opening hours and closure days, you can set the system to only allow reservations within the defined opening hours.

        1. Navigate to ‘Settings’ in the OfficeAdmin menu.

        2. Scroll down to ‘Restrict reservations within opening hours’.

        3. Select ‘Restricted’ to activate the setting.

        4. Click ‘Save’ to confirm.

When enabled, users will receive an error message if they attempt to book outside the defined opening hours.

          ""

Quick Tips for Configuring Opening Hours

          • Set Default Hours: Go to Locations > Edit > Opening Hours, add times per day, and save.

          • Custom Opening Hours: Special one-off opening hours for specific dates.

          • Add Closure Days: Use the Collective Closures tab for special days like holidays.

          • Restrict Reservations: Activate ‘Restrict reservations within opening hours’ under Settings to limit bookings to open times.
