You can configure a reservation to automatically stop if no one checks in within a set amount of time. This prevents rooms and desks from sitting unoccupied while still marked as reserved, and encourages employees to arrive on time to avoid losing their assigned desk or room.<\/p>\n

This setting is currently configured per individual asset. Since it usually needs to be applied to several or all workstations at once, use the ‘Bulk edit’ functionality to apply it to multiple assets in one action.<\/p>\n

  1. Navigate to ‘Assets’ in the menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Find the desks\/rooms where you want to activate this setting and select the checkbox at the start of each row.<\/li>\n
  3. To select all desks\/rooms at once, tick the checkbox at the top of the left column (next to ‘Occupancy’). This selects the first 20 assets on the page \u2014 repeat on each subsequent page until all assets are selected.<\/li>\n
  4. Select the ‘Bulk edit’ button. A pop-up opens showing the available editing actions.<\/li>\n
  5. Under ‘Automatically stop reservation’, select ‘Enabled’.<\/li>\n
  6. Set the number of minutes after which the reservation should expire if there’s no check-in \u2014 for example, 30 minutes for meetingrooms and 60 minutes for desks.<\/li>\n
  7. Select ‘Continue’.<\/li>\n
