Enabling WebSockets improves communication with Room Signage screens, allowing reservation details and room statuses to update faster. This functionality also significantly improves the overall performance of the Officebooking platform.<\/span><\/p>\n

Turn on sockets <\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Navigate to ‘Users<\/strong>‘ in the left menu. <\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Find and select the device user you want to enable this functionality for. <\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Select the ‘Edit<\/strong>‘ button to change the user. <\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Check the ‘Enable sockets<\/strong>‘ option.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Then select the\u00a0‘Save user’<\/strong>\u00a0button to save the change. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Refresh screen <\/span><\/h3>\n

    After enabling this functionality, the Signage screen must be refreshed again. This can be done directly from the OfficeAdmin, after saving the device user. <\/span><\/p>\n

    After saving, you will return to the detail page of the device user. Select the ‘Refresh Signage’ button here.<\/span><\/p>\n

    After refreshing, a new ‘Action cable’ icon will appear in the corner of the screen. This same icon can also be seen behind the screen within the Signage overview.<\/span><\/p>\n
