Officebooking offers several privacy settings that control what reservation information is displayed on room booking panels and digital signage. Depending on your organisation\u2019s needs, you can hide reservation titles, organiser names, or entire reservations.<\/div>\n

This article explains the available privacy settings and where to configure them.<\/p>\n

Configure privacy through a device template<\/h3>\n

You can use device templates to determine which reservation details are displayed on a room booking panel.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to OfficeAdmin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Devices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Select the device you want to configure and click Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Select Select template<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  5. Choose the template that matches your privacy requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    The template settings override other default settings. For example, if a template is configured to hide reservation titles, the title will not be displayed even when the reservation itself is not marked as private.<\/p>\n

    Hide specific reservations or set a default per asset<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

    The Show in bookinglist<\/strong> setting allows you to control whether reservations are displayed on digital signage. For example, you can show a reservation to colleagues and on room booking panels while hiding it from a digital signage display, such as the Officebooking Bookinglist or narrowcasting integrations.<\/p>\n

    Administrators and location managers can manage the Show in bookinglist setting for a specific reservation by navigating to OfficeAdmin > Reservations > List<\/strong> and selecting the box below the Display icon. This only affects the selected reservation.<\/p>\n

    The setting can also be configured as a default per asset by navigating to OfficeAdmin > Assets > Select Asset > Edit > Reservation settings<\/strong>. In this case, the setting applies to all reservations made for that asset, determining whether they are shown on digital signage by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
