Who can do this<\/strong>: Admins or Location Managers with edit permissions
\nWhere<\/strong>: OfficeAdmin > Locations<\/p>\n

Collective closures block all reservations at a location<\/strong> for a specific date and time window (or the entire day). Use this for company events, maintenance, holidays, or safety drills. When a collective closure is active, users can\u2019t book any assets in that location during the closed period.<\/p>\n

Steps<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Go to Locations and open the location you want to configure.<\/li>\n
  2. Click Edit, then open the Opening Hours tab.<\/li>\n
  3. Under Collective closures, pick a date.<\/li>\n
  4. Choose the Start time and End time for the closure. You can add multiple closure windows on the same date if needed.<\/li>\n
  5. Click Add to create the closure.<\/li>\n
  6. Repeat for additional dates, then click Save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How it works<\/h3>\n

    \u2022 Overrides availability: Collective closures override the location\u2019s default hours and any custom hours for that date.
    \n\u2022 Applies to all assets: Assets inside the location are not bookable during the closure window\u2014even if an asset has different hours.
    \n\u2022 Existing bookings: Review existing reservations that fall inside a new closure and reschedule or cancel as needed.
    \n\u2022 Timezone and format: Times use your organisation\u2019s timezone in 24-hour format.<\/p>\n

    \u2022 Company-wide meeting: 12 October, 09:00\u201311:30 closed.
    \n\u2022 Maintenance: 18 November, 14:00\u201318:00 closed.
    \n\u2022 Holiday: 25 December, closed all day.<\/p>\n

    Tips and troubleshooting<\/h3>\n

    \u2022 Multiple days: Add a separate closure for each date.
    \n\u2022 Can\u2019t add a closure? Check your permissions for the location.
    \n\u2022 Overlap: If you add overlapping closures, the system treats the combined window as closed.
