Custom colors allow you to control how reservations are displayed in the Reservations view<\/strong> in officeAdmin<\/strong>. By assigning a specific color to each reservation type, planners can quickly distinguish between different kinds of bookings\u2014such as private reservations, VIP meetings, online meetings, booking requests, and regular reservations.<\/p>\n

This makes the planner easier to scan and helps users understand the schedule at a glance.<\/p>\n

Availability<\/strong>
Custom colors in the reservations view are currently available only for Enterprise subscriptions<\/strong>.

How custom colors work<\/h2>\n

Each reservation type can be assigned its own color. When a reservation matches one or more criteria, the planner applies the color based on the following priority order (highest priority first):<\/p>\n

  1. Booking request<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. VIP meeting<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Online meeting<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Private meeting<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Default reservation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Example<\/strong>
    If a reservation is marked as both VIP<\/em> and Private<\/em>, the VIP color<\/strong> will be shown in the planner.<\/p>\n

    Add custom colors to the planner<\/h2>\n

    Before you start<\/h3>\n

    Make sure your organisation has an Enterprise subscription<\/strong>, as this feature is not available on lower plans.<\/p>\n

    Step-by-step instructions<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Open officeAdmin<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Go to Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Select Properties<\/strong><\/li>\n
    4. Choose Add<\/strong><\/li>\n
    5. Select Booking palette<\/strong><\/li>\n
    6. In the key\u2013value editor, define a color for each booking type<\/li>\n
    7. Supported booking types are currently: VIP meeting, Online meeting and Private meeting.<\/li>\n
    8. Use valid color values (for example: hex codes such as #FF5733<\/code>).<\/li>\n
    9. Select Add<\/strong><\/li>\n
    10. Click Save<\/strong> to apply your changes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Once saved, the selected colors will immediately be used in the reservations view.<\/p>\n

      • Use high-contrast colors<\/strong> to improve visibility in busy planners<\/li>\n
      • Keep colors consistent with internal conventions<\/strong> (e.g. red for VIP, blue for online meetings)<\/li>\n
