By assigning a stage, you can safely configure and test a location before making it available to users, or hide it when it is temporarily or permanently taken out of use.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"579\">Stages determine who can see a location and where\u2014across OfficeAdmin, the web app, and the mobile apps.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"636\">Currently, Officebooking supports four location stages:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ofb-ul\">\n<li data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"647\">Active<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"657\">Draft<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"660\" data-end=\"668\">Hidden<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"680\">Blocked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"887\"><strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"698\">Availability<\/strong><br data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"701\" \/>Location stages are currently available for Business Plus and Enterprise subscriptions only.<br data-start=\"793\" data-end=\"796\" \/>To enable this functionality, please contact our support team at <a class=\"decorated-link cursor-pointer\" rel=\"noopener\" data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"886\">support@officebooking.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"ofb-kb\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"923\">How stage visibility works<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"980\">Each stage affects how and where a location is visible:<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"1081\"><strong data-start=\"982\" data-end=\"992\">Active<\/strong><br data-start=\"992\" data-end=\"995\" \/>The location is visible to all users in OfficeAdmin, the web app, and the mobile apps.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1276\"><strong data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1092\">Draft<\/strong><br data-start=\"1092\" data-end=\"1095\" \/>The location is always visible in OfficeAdmin.<br data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1144\" \/>It is also visible in the web app and mobile apps for administrators and location managers.<br data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1238\" \/>Regular users cannot see the location.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1406\"><strong data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1298\">Hidden<\/strong><br data-start=\"1298\" data-end=\"1301\" \/>The location is visible only in OfficeAdmin.<br data-start=\"1345\" data-end=\"1348\" \/>It is hidden for all users in the web app and mobile apps.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1406\"><strong>Blocked<br \/>\n<\/strong>The location is hidden. Visitor registration will not work, neither will any external registrations or integrations be allowed to register reservations, check in users or visitors.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1479\">Locations are always visible in OfficeAdmin, regardless of their stage.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"ofb-kb\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1486\" data-end=\"1521\">Changing the stage of a location<\/h2>\n<p>To update the stage of a location:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li data-start=\"1562\" data-end=\"1580\">Navigate to officeAdmin<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1601\">Go to Locations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"1645\">Select the location you want to update<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1649\" data-end=\"1661\">Click Edit<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1665\" data-end=\"1699\">Locate the Select stage dropdown<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1728\">Choose the desired stage:\n<ul>\n<li>Active<\/li>\n<li>Draft<\/li>\n<li>Hidden<\/li>\n<li>Blocked<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Save the location<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1924\">The updated stage takes effect immediately and the location\u2019s visibility is updated in the web app and mobile apps.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<hr class=\"ofb-kb\" \/>\n<h2>When to use each stage<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"2170\"><strong data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"1967\">Draft<\/strong><br data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"1970\" \/>Use this stage when setting up or modifying a location. New locations are set to Draft by default. This allows administrators and location managers to review and test the configuration before rollout.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2276\"><strong data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2182\">Active<\/strong><br data-start=\"2182\" data-end=\"2185\" \/>Use this stage when the location is ready for daily use and should be visible to all users.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2278\" data-end=\"2495\"><strong data-start=\"2278\" data-end=\"2298\">Hidden \/ Blocked<\/strong><br data-start=\"2298\" data-end=\"2301\" \/>Use these stages when a location is temporarily or permanently taken out of use.
