Reservation rules can be configured at the asset level to manage booking limits and specific restrictions for individual assets.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: <\/em>When there are multiple rules defined on i.e. assets and in user groups, the asset\u2019s rule prevails.<\/p>\n

Available reservation restrictions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

Maximum days in advance for reservations<\/td>\nThe maximum number of days a user can book in advance.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Maximum duration per reservation<\/td>\nThe maximum duration of a reservation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Minimum capacity<\/td>\nThe minimum number of attendees.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Default reservation request<\/td>\nReservations created for this asset are requests by default. A request needs to be approved by a location manager or service manager.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Allow multi-day reservations<\/td>\nAllows a single reservation for this asset to span multiple days.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

How to configure reservation rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Navigate to OfficeAdmin<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Select Assets<\/strong>, and select the relevant asset.<\/li>\n
  3. Select Edit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Scroll down to review all settings and configure the required limits.<\/li>\n
  5. Select Save <\/strong>to save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once a reservation rule is configured, it takes effect immediately. If a user tries to make a reservation that does not comply with the configured rules, the reservation cannot be made and the user will receive a message explaining why.<\/p>\n
