It\u2019s time to say goodbye to the classic Officebooking Webapp<\/strong>\u2014support ends on 30<\/strong> March 2026<\/strong>. Our new, modernised web app has been rolled out for five years and is ready for you and your users to switch with ease.<\/p>\n

To ensure a smooth transition, we\u2019ve prepared a conversion communication kit<\/strong> (templates, email copy, FAQs, screenshot guides). Contact us and we\u2019ll plan your migration together.<\/p>\n

How we\u2019ll help you switch<\/h3>\n

  1. Pilot with admins and location managers<\/strong>: <\/b>In the old app, use the \u201cSwitch to the new app\u201d button to try the new experience and validate key workflows. <\/b>This feature has been enabled for all admins and location managers by default.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Roll out to all users<\/strong>: <\/b>When you\u2019re ready, end users can switch using the same button in the old app.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Update your user documentation<\/strong>: <\/b>Adjust your guides to match the new UI. Our kit includes content you can adapt.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Collect questions from users<\/strong>: <\/b>Gather feedback and questions; we\u2019ll help you triage and update the FAQ.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. 1-2-3 Go!<\/strong> <\/span>Remove the switch button<\/span>: Once everyone\u2019s comfortable, you can redirect your users to the new webapp instantly.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How to change settings in officeAdmin<\/h3>\n

      Within officeAdmin, navigate to ‘Settings’. Select ‘New webapp enabled for users’ to show the ‘Switch to the new app’ button in the old webapp. Users can switch back and forward from both the old and the new app.<\/p>\n

      Select ‘Default to new webapp’ when you are ready to move. Your users will automatically login to the new web app.<\/p>\n

      How to test the modern web app<\/h3>\n

      Users can switch to the modern web app by clicking the \u201cSwitch to new web app\u201d button in the top navigation bar. When changing the URL and navigating directly to the login page, you will be prompted to log in to the BookingEngine again.<\/p>\n
