It’s time to say goodbye to the classic Officebooking Webapp—support ends on 30 March 2026. Our new, modernised web app has been rolled out for five years and is ready for you and your users to switch with ease.
To ensure a smooth transition, we’ve prepared a conversion communication kit (templates, email copy, FAQs, screenshot guides). Contact us and we’ll plan your migration together.
How we’ll help you switch
- Pilot with admins and location managers: In the old app, use the “Switch to the new app” button to try the new experience and validate key workflows. This feature has been enabled for all admins and location managers by default.
- Roll out to all users: When you’re ready, end users can switch using the same button in the old app.
- Update your user documentation: Adjust your guides to match the new UI. Our kit includes content you can adapt.
- Collect questions from users: Gather feedback and questions; we’ll help you triage and update the FAQ.
- 1-2-3 Go! Remove the switch button: Once everyone’s comfortable, you can redirect your users to the new webapp instantly.
How to change settings in officeAdmin
Within officeAdmin, navigate to ‘Settings’. Select ‘New webapp enabled for users’ to show the ‘Switch to the new app’ button in the old webapp. Users can switch back and forward from both the old and the new app.
Select ‘Default to new webapp’ when you are ready to move. Your users will automatically login to the new web app.
How to test the modern web app
Users can switch to the modern web app by clicking the “Switch to new web app” button in the top navigation bar. When changing the URL and navigating directly to the login page, you will be prompted to log in to the BookingEngine again.
