ESCA Locus
The Officebooking Esca Locus Occupancy sensor measures desk occupancy. The wireless sensor is mounted directly under a desk and can be used for both regular and standing desks.
Esca Locus is battery operated and communicates via LoRa communication standards. The sensor is fully integrated with the Officebooking IOT-Core platform. Our proprietary ESCA firmware technology uses Artificial Intelligence to minimise false positives, based on the context of the user and historic data. Data is transmitted on wake up or during configurable intervals, enabling longer battery life while minimising false positives.
Smart monitoring
Proprietary occupancy monitoring technology to track occupancy in real time. Data per 5 minutes accessible. Time-out settings remotely configurable.
LoRaWan connected
Indoor coverage up to 50 meter radius. Gateways operate over mqtts and https. Proactive monitoring included.
Easy deployment
Battery powered, expected battery life is 4-5 years depending on desk usage. Low maintenance, remote monitoring and warning system.
Desk occupancy detection by ESCA smart pir technology. Operates as a stand alone node. Data contains movement threshold and intensity. Status message every 8 hours. Node sends directly after a wake up event, after wake up every 5 minutes until 0 detections. Sensitivity threshold and no detections message scheduling configurable.
