We’ve introduced a new data source option for clients utilising either Exchange Online or Exchange on-premise, exclusively for Roombooking. This feature enables the display of all Outlook reservations directly in the Roombooking view. Additionally, you can still enjoy the functionalities of Signage views, such as making ad hoc reservations and extending meetings. However, please note that certain features, like check-in and ending a meeting early, may not function or may operate differently.
To switch your current template to the Outlook Only Source, please follow these steps:
- From the main menu, select ‘Devices’.
- Choose the panel you wish to modify and click on the ‘Edit’ icon.
- In the ‘Booking Data Source’ dropdown, choose ‘Graph’.
- Save your Device settings.
- Go back to the main menu and select ‘Users’.
- Find and select the Device user linked to the Device you have just updated.
- Uncheck ‘Enable Sockets?’.
- Save the user settings.
After the panel is rebooted or refreshed (which occurs nightly), it will gather all data from the selected source.
The Outlook only template doesn’t work when Websockets is enabled. Please check if you’ve disabled Websockets after changing the datasource.
