Within Officebooking, statuses are used for different items (e.g., reservations, visitors, and service orders). For example a reservation can be a request, stopped or cancelled. When integrating with 3rd party calendar systems such as Office 365 or Google we need to convert various reservation stages from one system to another.
Cancellation requests are cancellations that are initiated by any 3rd party calendar system but might be wrong. This can happen when Officebooking platform is checking any differences between the various systems and a connection error occurs. Officebooking then labels the cancellation as ‘Request’ and adds an error code.
The “Cancellation requests” tab shows an overview of all reservations that were about to be cancelled within Officebooking. By selecting the “Cancel” button, the reservation is actually cancelled. The external state “100” indicates it is a cancellation request. By selecting the “Get Status Info” button, you can request the original reservation information from the original calendar system.
