How do I edit a reservation via Outlook Add-in?

If you need to make changes to an existing reservation and send updates to the participants, follow the steps outlined below.

  1. Double-click on the reservation in your Outlook calendar to open it in a separate window. This will display the details of the reservation, including the date, time, location, and participants.
  2. Once the reservation window is open, locate and click on the “Edit Event” option. This action will enable you to make changes to the existing reservation details.
  3. In the reservation window, you’ll notice three dots at the top-right corner of the window. Click on these three dots to reveal a drop-down menu of additional options and features. Look for and select the “Officebooking Add-In” from this menu.
  4. After selecting the Officebooking Add-In, a new sidebar will appear, providing you with the tools and options to modify the reservation details. Make the necessary changes to the date, time, location, or any other relevant information.
  5. Once you have made the desired modifications to the reservation, click on the “Save” button.
  6. Close the Outlook window in which the reservation was modified. Outlook will prompt you with a notification asking if you want to send an update. Select the “Send Update” option to notify the participants of the meeting.

By following these steps, you can effectively modify existing Officebooking reservations in Outlook and ensure that the participants receive timely updates regarding any changes made. Remember to double-check the modifications before saving and sending the update to avoid any confusion or miscommunication.
